WORDS AND PHOTOS: BRYCE KANIGHTS

Aside from your immediate family and friends, do you regularly stop to look and think of all of the environments and physical things that directly shape or influence your life? I mean, aside from the people and animals that live in it, our planet is made up of so many rich and diverse colors, materials, textures, cultures, and shapes. And each of these components has a cumulative impact on who we are and what we’ve become. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to see and experience many disparate regions of this world. And either analog or digital, I always have a camera with me to document my experiences and the world that I live in. A bit like OCD, my regular routine of carrying around that important metal box with a glass lens is kind of ingrained in my lifeblood I guess. Nonetheless, below are four collages that I’ve assembled from a wide range of circular-centric images that I’ve captured in my travels over the past year. Circles rule...they’re out there, and one of my favorite shapes for sure!
