Todd Francis has been quietly illustrating some of your favorite skateboard graphics since 1993. Antihero's eagle logo, Jason Lee's 'retirement' board, he's worked on "500 to 700" and says that "Most of them have been shitty". So here are ten of Todd's favorite shitty boards that he's designed over the years, along with his thoughts on each of them.

Antihero / Julien Stranger / Nature's Revenge K9
For me, this one hits all the bases... funny, mean and triumphant. Nothing makes me happier than drawing animals attacking people. Plus, its got my favorite fullpass tone going on, we called it "baby diarrhea" color. Probably the best graphic I've ever done, or at least my favorite one.
Element / Jeremy Wray / Animalism Ram
This series was my first chance to really draw my ass off for Element, and it was also my first collaboration with Matt Irving on a pro series. Getting the printer to replicate the graphite drawings wasn't easy, but I was really happy with the end result of this series, particularly the horn detail on Wray's bighorn sheep.
Antihero / Eagle
This one makes the list just because of the longevity of this old buzzard. I was always pretty happy with the way this thing came out, but what it has come to represent has overshadowed whatever craft went into the actual artwork. A little piece of skate history, I guess... and tattoos galore.
Element / Bam Margera / Forage
Another series where I really enjoyed the chance to spend a long time painting. This type of painting would never have appeared on board graphics ten years ago... the recent advances in heat transfer graphics has changed all that. The whole Forage series came out pretty decent, but I’m so partial to snakes. Just about the best example of getting paid to do something you love.
Stereo / Matt Rodriguez / Down Home
Working on Stereo graphics was always a hell of a lot of fun, but there was something special about doing graphics for Matt Rodgriguez, they always just came out better. This one was just so simple, clean and bold... it's always been up there for me.
Element / Bam Margera / National Preserve
Bam’s graphics are a whole different beast, because some of the ones I’ve worked on have become some of the greatest selling boards in the history of skateboarding (not because of the art, of course, but because of the incredible following this guy has created). I included this instead of any of those mega-selling Bam Heart-Logo boards because I think this one looks better.  
New Deal / Kenny Reed / Notes Fish
This graphic is included in my list, even though very few people probably ever saw any of the New Deal graphics that Natas Kaupas and I collaborated upon. Nonetheless, the end result of our working together was a bunch of very distinct and weird graphics that I really loved working on.
Antihero / Cardiel / Flesh Eating Bacteria Disease
The whole Disease series was pretty gross, and though I wish I could take credit for the original idea, it was Andy Roy and Sean Young who dreamed it up on tour. The dogs in the background, begging for meat scraps from the decaying victim, are probably what made me choose this one... ewwwww.
Element / Tosh Townend / Day After Jeep
The Day After series was totally out of left field for me, but it was fun to dream up. The colors came out real nice and subtle, and the desolation and post-apocalyptic feel to these is probably why I include this on the list.
Antihero / Pigeon
Scuzzy, crippled, and probably blind in one eye, it was a bird you wouldn’t touch with the heel of your boot. Or, as Julien Stranger described it, “a pigeon that looks like someone dumped an oil change on it.”. The Pigeon Board was eventually replaced by the Eagle logo, but not without a struggle. Just plain yucky.
